BOMBSHELL - Feature Documentary - PBS American Experience
Since 2022, I have been deeply involved in Bombshell, not only as a producer but also leading the archival research, fact-checking, and rights clearance for the project. My work spanned locating and securing historically significant materials, verifying the accuracy of complex narratives, and ensuring all media used in the film met legal and editorial standards. This comprehensive role has allowed me to support the film’s creative vision while safeguarding its historical integrity.
BOMBSHELL explores how the U.S. government creates a false narrative about the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II. Through propaganda, censorship, and by co-opting the press, the government presents a benevolent picture of atomic power, minimizing the horrific human toll of the bombings.

Since January 2026, I have been leading the impact campaign for Bombshell, organizing screenings and post-screening discussions across the United States. My work involves coordinating with universities, journalism schools, nonprofit organizations, and community partners to bring the film to diverse audiences, facilitate conversations around its central themes, and expand its reach and impact beyond its PBS broadcast.
In September 2026 I took part in a screening and panel discussion at Columbia University Journalism School with narrator Ann Curry, director Ben Loeterman, moderated by Robe Imbriano, Columbia's Documentary Journalism Program.
